1. According to the story this doe did rub because the hunter found tree bark in the antler... Now if an antlered doe was still in velvet then no she probably wouldn't... The more testosterone the more likely a doe will act more buck like...

2. If he smelled a hot doe then he probably would tend it but then again if the doe had high levels of testosterone it might be possible for her not to go in heat but I don't know for sure and that is a very good question that I would like to know for sure...

3. Very likely of her passing her genes on...
