BZEB and I hunted Splinter Ridge with no luck of deer Saturday morning or night. But, Sunday morning we decided we would hit the spot again. Got up in the stand probably around 7:05 maybe, and seen the deer about an hour into the hunt. BZEB spotted the deer at about 75 - 80 yards. The deer came in to about 30 - 35 yards and I took a shot with the .44 magnum rifle. The deer took of a ways down the right ridge. After about 20 minutes of trying to find some blood I finally found her about 15 yards from my right shoulder. I shot her through a lung and in the guts...very smelly, but SO exciting! Hopefully this will be the first of many. I owe it all to Zeb, Joe, Bill, Brian, Luke. laugh laugh laugh
