Got the buddy stand up today. Bean and "Luke the Provider" came over and helped put it up and cut shooting lanes. Got a good spot, bean calls it "money" LoL, with 4 or 5 white oaks around it. Should be a good spot with three nice clear bow and rifle shooting lanes. Ready to harvest my first deer this season...am feeling lucky!!!

Got my new up today as well... My new stand is sweet... Can't wait till season to use it...

Preparation is as much of deer hunting as anything, your off to a great start MH. May your preparation and opportunity present you with meat on the table!!!!!

Thanks guys! Every fall it ends up the same...four or five bucks on trail cam, too many does!!!, a couple fawns, and yet no luck while hunting...most of the time. But I have a good feeling this year because it was my 3rd year hunting when I killed my tom turkey, and this will be my 6th year hunting and it will be a deer...LOL...I hope! Sounds kinda weird. But O-well, we'll see what happens...thanks for the support!!!

I recommend Hoosier Trapper Supply's "LipLicker" for all deer, at all times of the season. It's good stuff, I'll even use a drag line to my stand and then hang it on a limb by my stand. I have found all kinds of deer sniffin' this stuff out!! Just don't over-use ANY atractant.

More stands = more opportunity......go get em'

my brother uses that stuff and has had good luck with it. I have not used it.

I might put some in front of a cam to see how they react to it.

I seen the #1 lip licker lure at HTS. Expensive but will try it.
