So, in one test with one dog the $400 ozonics unit bought him 36 more seconds than wearing only street clothes. It this finding reproducible?

Is this 36 sec significant in a hunting situation? Probably not.

Scentlok was proven to be a scam years ago, it has all been hashed out in court.

I agree with you 76, I have never used scent blockers and have killed lots of deer. Now I don't go out smelling like a gas can, but I don't go to extremes to be scent free. I follow 2 main rules. 1) hunt 20 ft or higher 2) SIT STILL

Playing the wind the #1 way to control your scent! Plus some real doe urine on your rubber boots! Or go step in one of Yaz's cow patties before you go out laugh

Thanks for posting Euson, interesting tests. I like what I hear about ozonics. Not sure I want to part with that much dough but it is obviously better than baking soda or other store bought products. A contained area like a box blind may make it more effective than hanging it overhead in a tree stand.....like to learn more about this stuff.

I've always thought if you let your prey get used to your scent in a non-hunting situation.(before hunting season) When you hunt & they smell you they won't be alarmed because in the past you were no threat to them.

Didn't Dr Deer (James Kroll) do a somewhat scientific study using an ozone generator and found it somewhat effective also?
