You certainly are well within your rights to offer opinions on this, or any other subject you choose. Just as I am well within my rights to consider your opinions and (if I choose) discard them @ will.
Regardless....it would appear that while this issue is settled as far as I'm concerned, it seems it still "sticks in your craw".
