The DNR conducts these deer hunter surveys every few years. Contrary to what some want others to believe they are absolutely nothing new.

Under wildlife Click on search reports and type in deer hunter and see that these deer hunter surveys go back into at least the 1980s. [/b]If I'm reading the list correctly, it appears the last deer hunter survey was in 2010....four years ago.
Point is...one heck of alot happened in that four years....and suspect internet feedback (to say the least) played a key role in the outcome.
