IF....Big IF.....what you say is true, then our harvest numbers would have gone down the first season it was implemented. Instead we're reporting record harvests. Simple math disproves your claim
Actually, using that logic, a good arguement could be made against.
Given all the generous antlerless quotas across the state...compared to the one buck rule, there is alot more incentive to "hide" the antlered buck harvest....and the antlered buck harvest did drop significantly last year.
I don't know how much tele-check has increased such activity...but to say/think that it has no negative effect is naive.
