When my father passed, I found his old Nitro King 12ga. in the closet. He had this gun as a kid and literally wore it out. I still have the gun, but it's not safe to shoot, as it won't lock-up very well.

ANYWAY...while I was looking at the gun, I noticed a sliver of paper sticking out beneath the butt-plate. Curiosity got the best of me, so I removed the plate. Stuffed into the stock was his hunting license from 1952! The writing and hand signatures are mostly faded, but still legible if you look closely. I laminated it, and it resides in my safe. Thought it was pretty cool to see all the changes that have occurred throughout the years.
