Looks like the 211 score was not caused by a mistake in a measurement or two, but rather was from a consistent over-stating of every measurement on the rack, except for the right main beam, which matched the panel score.
main beams 0/8 & 4/8 over first points 1/8 and 3/8 over second points 3/8 & 4/8 over third points 4/8 & 4/8 over fourth points 1/8 & 1/8 over 1st circumf 2/8 & 3/8 over 2nd circumf 2/8 & 1/8 over 3rd circumf 4/8 & 3/8 over 4th circumf 3/8 & 3/8 over spread 4/8 over

Absolutely…..
Some are saying the Old water trick was in play!
Here is a quote from someone close to the last scoring process.
“Here's a couple of tidbits to chew on over the Huff buck...When Bass Pro got the rack, it didn't go on display. In fact, they never did put it on display until a week after it was panel scored. In stead, it sat in a temperature controlled room for almost a year. Why would they do that if everything was on the up & up. Answer: because the antlers had a bad stink to them and were overly heavy! In my opinion the antlers are still curiously over weight. Point being, BP figured something was up with the rack. This was part of some discussions I overheard or was part of. Someone from the BP team had enough sense to recognize that all may not be as advertised with the antlers. I'll leave it at that.”
