Put out another trail cam yesterday afternoon, and captured this picture just a few hours later. This is the target buck for now. This is my first year using cell cams. I'm running 8 of them. Looking forward to seeing if I can use them to figure this buck out.

Yeah, what it looks like to me. I'm guessing his winter coat will grow in normal. Hopefully I continue to get pictures through the fall.

Had these bucks bedded down in front of one of my cameras for 2 hours yesterday morning. Got some pretty cool pictures.

Hard to guess from velvet pics, but the "alopecia buck" I think it's safe to say is going to easily be a P&Y class buck. As well as the 5x5 in your last pic.

Yeah, I think he might be just browsing on the vegetation. Got a bunch of pictures of bucks standing there. There must be some tasty browse in this area. He does look kind of goofy with the mouth open haha

Definitely possible that some dogs or something else pushed that deer though.

Acorns are just starting to drop here, which seems to drastically change deer movement patterns. I'm getting very few pics of bucks, but they should be starting to shed velvet.

Yeah, I imagine bachelor groups are going to be breaking up, and bucks will start to spread out a little bit too. I did get another picture of that big 5x5 yesterday. What a beauty.

That's a really cool picture. I've gotten a couple smaller bucks in hard horn. Things are definitely changing rapidly in the whitetail woods right now. Do you have any out of state hunts planned this month?
