I am not a fan of this ... they want to do away with the Pittman-Robertson Act ... while I am no fan of "taxes" per se, Ive always considered this a "good tax" if there can be such a thing ...

these Repubs have no idea the negative effects this would have to the states and their wildlife and habitat, all they are looking at is the word 'tax' ... hell, would state licenses go up even more to cover the money loss ?? ...

Agree...even as a "fiscal conservative" I'd support keeping the P-R tax/fund. Hopefully they'll get squared away by some of the conservation groups who have already come out in opposition to this.
