Our neighbor took her 11-year old grandson Isaac out Saturday afternoon for his first ever deer hunt, and he got lucky and took this nice buck.

They were hunting out of a hay-bale ground blind, and he had passed on a doe earlier in the afternoon because she had a fawn alongside and he didn't want to shoot the mother.

That paid off later when this buck came walking right in. He made a 30 yard shot with his 44 mag and the buck only went a short distance.
