Wheat plots got planted today. All plots are done. Deer are browsing on the turnips and rape now. Built 2 mock scrapes with two pieces of jute rope hanging down to about 5 ft. Used synthetic forehead gland on the ropes and tarsel gland lure on the scrape...plus I peed in to put some urine smell in. Set cams on both. Nothing like seeing your target deer on cam plus get a rough idea how many yotes are visiting.......shouldnt be many since i snared 7 females last winter off 127 acres. If you aint got your plots planted its time to get them in....h.h.
