The rains finally came here last week after 6 weeks of drought. Thought we might have to replant this plot of Rutabagas, but they finally emerged after 4 inches of rainfall. Looks like its coming up a little patchy but might be ok. These you have to plant early due to a long maturity time. First time trying them, but supposed to be more palatable in the Fall, more so than turnips.

Still have some other spots to plant Winter Rye, Purple Top Turnips, Austrian Winter Peas and Daikon Radish.
