I've been out of the archery deal for over a decade now but for certain reasons I decided to bowfish for a few of the grass carp I have in my pond and found this used old Bear Hunter bow for $25 and couldn't pass it up. I've still got a few things to get like a release, string loop and a rubber tube for the peep sight, but I may use it for deer hunting again. I lost my main hunting spot because the owner died last winter right before he finished changing his will to leave the place to me,but I still have behind the house I can hunt, even though there's not a lot of deer back there, there's a few/.

Those older bows killed deer just as dead as the new ones! Should work well for bowfishing too. Nice buy.
