That is the most dangerous part of tree stand hunting. The transition too and from foot step to stand.
Life lines, life lines, life lines ... they could have prevented this.

I agree with the life lines and all that and I'm not trying to be judgemental, but what is a 64 year old man doing 22 feet up a tree? He may be in superb physical condition but I can't picture a 64 year old climbing that high into a treestand...I know I won't be when I'm that age.
RECYCLE and save the trees! Where else am I going to put my tree stand?
