Well, all I can say is that it just never seems to end in regard to deer. The "lets make it easier" by allowing even longer shooting firearms and bait piles is the typical idealism that moves the sport further and further towards devaluing the learning curve and outdoorsmenship, in my opinion. The grouse is an interesting twist. For instance, if I had private land and managed it for grouse habitat and had plenty of grouse, I would then be penalized because of the issues largely on public land. That said, I don't think they are many that give a crap about the grouse in regard to surviving in Indiana or not.
