Ingredients:
1lb Venison Breakfast Sausage- I made my own (HIGH Mountain Blend Sage)
1 large diced yellow onion
1/2 lb bacon cut up
3 cloves of garlic ( I used more)
2 14.5 oz chicken broth
1 quart water
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 medium potatoes cut up
2 cups Kale chopped (I used baby Kale)
Salt pepper to taste
1 tsp olive oil
Heat oil and sausage in a skillet until brown, drain, set aside.
Same skillet brown bacon, onion, and garlic until crispy drain off excess fat and set aside.
In a large pot put broth and bring to a boil then add in potatoes,sausage,bacon,onions,and garlic. Cook until potatoes are soft.
Add whipping cream and bring back to a boil, remove from heat and add in Kale salt and pepper to taste serve with grated parmesan cheese.
This feeds 4-6 I doubled recipe and it turned out just fine. Enjoy, its easy to make and I promise its very good.
