As I was sitting here looking at your post, the timer in the kitchen went off. Just finished a raspberry pie from what we picked up north this week. The blackberry bushes look like they are going to be producing some good sized berries in a couple few weeks.

Have all your ingredients out and ready before you begin mixing anything.
>2 Cups of Berries >1 & 3/4 cups of Sugar (total) >1 Cup of All Purpose Flour >2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder >1/2 Cup of Milk >1/2 Stick of Butter/Margarine
Melt a half stick of butter in a (apprx. 2 qt casserole) baking dish, by pre-heating it in the oven at 375 degrees.
In meantime, mix the 2 cup Berries, and 3/4 cup Sugar together.... let sit.
Mix Flour, 1 cup Sugar, the Baking Powder, and the Milk together.
Pour the batter mixture into the preheated baking dish (apprx 2 qt casserole dish). This will cause the butter to rise and sit on top of the batter... DO NOT STIR!
Now spoon, or pour the berry mixture right into the center of the batter mixture..... DO NOT STIR!
Now bake for apprx. 45-50 minutes, until golden brown. As you can see, the berries should sink down into the batter, and the batter will rise to cover the berries.
Let me tell ya, this recipe is REALLY good..... the cobbler above was very DELICIOUS!!
