Finally completed my Ruger SR762 project with my SilencerCo Omega's arrival on Friday. Took her out the range today to finally test some loads. Looks like MOA accuracy out of a 16" barrel with a .308 will be pretty easy to hold. Was getting some serious heat mirage off the suppressor, may need to look into a wrap. I had some significant gas blowback from the suppressor, but was able to minimize it with adjusting the piston system to the lowest level (1). Still had some decent powder on the BCG after 60 rounds. All-in-all. I'm going to do some more testing when I can get to a range with at least 200 yards available. I think this will be a great hog gun, which is my plan for it (heading down to Texas in late February). Will even be fun for some coyotes. Weapon: Ruger SR762 Upgrades: Ruger Elite 452 Trigger (very nice trigger for the money) MAGPUL ACS Buttstock Optics: Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP EBR-1 MOA Suppressor: SilencerCo Omega Rounds Tested: 178gr Hornady AMAX Handloads 178gr Hornady AMAX Freedom Munitions 168gr Hornady AMAX Freedom Munitions

Have you tested it without the suppressor? Really like the looks although that's probably too much scope for what I'd use it for.

Yes, I have put probably 100 rounds through it without the suppressor.
This scope was put on it for a night hog hunt in Texas coming up in a few weeks.
