Okay,,,not all you fellas chase these bushytails like I like to do this time of year, but surely you guys have some favorite .22 rifles/pistols/revolvers stashed away that you like to "plink" with. Let's hear/see what you've got, and what they like to digest down the tube.

Savage Mark II bull barrel. Eats any ammo I feed it but CCI Mini Mags are one hole. I use Remington Thunderbolts that I file the nose flat making a blunt nose bullet. Hits with a big smacking noise kind of like a broad head does. h.h.

Well Weed have tried a couple times on the bushy-tails this season to no avail, haven't even pulled the trigger yet. But the rimmies are sighted in and ready. I have several pics posted on some of them in the photo gallery, if anyone cares to look them up, but can post them again, but will have to look them up. I don't know if I can copy and paste them here. Well enough yacking..... #1 is for you WNM, my 541-T also is a tack driver using the Eley's sub sonic 40gr. But also like the RWS subs
#2 is a customized 10/22 with all the bells and whistle's, it loves the CCI Mini Mags
#3 is a Weatherby MK22 it also like the Mini Mags by the way I have the sister to this gun for sale in the general store.
#4 Anschutz 1515-16 22 Mag, loves the CCI hyper vel v-max 38gr
#5 As far as 22 pistol which is my pocket pistol its a Walther PPKSS and shoots the CCI Maxi Mags HP's very well.

Nice assortment so far, guys! Keep 'em coming! Mine are a CZ 455 American that likes the Eley Subsonics (thanks Yaz) That old JC Higgins I got off MDMech that loves CCI MiniMags (despite the 20# trigger pull) And a Winchester 9422 that loves Eley Tenex.... (It hurt just to type that one)...

My favorite tree rat getters….in order: Ruger 77/22. Bedded and free floated myself. Leupold compact 6 power with a target dot. Shoots all ammo well. Eley Subsonics, and RWS Subsonic hollow points shoot in the same hole. I mean…1 hole!!! Anchutz 54 Sporter, Redfield 3x9. Bought in 1964 (the year I was born)by my father. Shoots all decent, but likes the Eley subs and RWS match. CZ American in .17 HMR. Tack driver with all ammo. Its a good thing. Head shot ONLY on bushytalls! CZ (model # escapes me right now) .22. Shoots cheap Remington Subsonic hollow points really well. But likes the good (expensive) stuff to shoot dime groups @ 50. And…..my new Henry. Likes it all except the Remingtons. Shoots Eley subs well, and RWS Target rifle better than I can hold it! You need to buy a BRICK of that 10X for the 94 Weed! You can let me try some…...

I also have a Remington 41P Targetmaster bolt action single shot target rifle built in May 1937. It has a globe front sight and rear peep with two rear apertures of different sizes. It likes the old Remington Standard velocity bullets the best. I haven't shot squirrels with it in a few years but might take it along the next time out. h.h.

Best I got is a Marlin 880SQ bull barrel with a Rifle Basix trigger and an old Simmons scope. Breaks crisp at 1 3/4 lbs. Have shot many ragged one hole groups with an old hoard of Winchester power points. It likes cci mini mags almost as well for hunting. Shoots the old federal gold medal and Eley extremely well on paper. Also have stainless 10/22 w mild mods, and an old Remington 552 "truck gun". Just wish I could find some ammo!!!

To clarify the 552 is my son's and he's old enough to have it now! I'm sure he'll jump me on that one.
