The average hunter takes only one or two deer a season. From what your saying I don't see where you have any reason to gripe.
I saw a bunch in bow season & took a doe. The first hour of gun season I took my buck, just wish I had waited a bigger buck came through the next day.
There were a lot of deer coming through the last of gun season but I couldn't get out to hunt.
Now I think the deer have gone nocturnal because I see lot of tracks in the snow but don't see any in the day time.
