My son Cody has been fortunate to take two bucks over the last 2 seasons, but managed to get his first doe under his belt this morning. It was his first doe and his first archery kill. There were three does that came across the hillside across from us. They were strolling through heading directly left to right of us. They stopped and browsed and I ranged the one in back at 42 yards. He put the sight on her and squeezed the trigger. I saw the doe almost scrape her chest as she turned and headed away. After a nerve racking 30 minutes I walked over and found a great blood trail. The arrow had hit it's mark and the muzzy did it's job! [Linked Image]
