Joe, How are those deer being disposed of? Improper disposal of those carcasses in NON-CWD areas could result in "contamination" of additional areas.

That raises THIS question. Indiana has a rule on the books that MOST people do not know about. There are certain requirements to bring in harvested cervids from out of state. These requirements are to keep the spreading of CWD to new areas. I have often thought that WHEN we see it in Indiana, it will because of this…..someone just throwing the carcass of an infected animal out in the woods to get rid of it. Does this "Plan" have any provisions to ensure this does not happen???
