The original designers of the site set it up for the Discussion Forum to be reached as one of several different links available from the main page. So you start out on the main page, and then go from there. But as Brew pointed out, if you want to leave the discussion forum, and go back to the main page, there's a link at the bottom of each page next to the Contact Us link.

As far as updates, I spent a few weeks last winter updating every page on the site. Some of the various stories and photos are older, but we left those in place. The discussion forum is host to 99% of the traffic received on the HH site.
