Looks like that might make a nice side with some freash fall crappie . I never have cooked the sheep heads.. guess i need to give it a go

Steak em out in preferable slabs/slices, flour/egg salt/pep to taste, pan fry. My favorite. But they are great with olive oil butter and onions too.
Personally I think the 4-6 lb footballs are best, But I found a 25lber some years ago that was indesribeably delicious

Kentucky Kernal flour and pan fry that baby. Beats puffballs all to heck. Been seeing a bunch of fairy rings too right after the last rain.
