So I have taken up building fishing rods. I'm on my 4th build and learning a ton! Been a blast to get started. Built a 5'6" ultra light that is a blast. Second was a 9' light action crappie rod for a friend. Third was a 7' medium heavy bass rod that turned out awesome. Number 4 is identical to 3 for a buddy. Learning new tricks on each build! Hoping to sell a few by end of the summer! Ice rods will be in the que later this summer as well.
Here is a few pics of some builds! I'm a die hard boilermaker so an IU themed rod with a Hoosiers sticker is certainly tough to build!

I probably have 3-4 good hrs in a rod. Nothing fancy for wraps so far. Goal is to make functional, good looking rods to start as I learn. I'm having a blast and looking forward to selling a few. I have lots of interest so far from buddies!
