Quickfire was there yesterday...said plenty of ice. He should be on here in a little while with a report.

Ice is fine, I drilled anywhere form 7" to 10" yesterday. You can go anywhere you want to on the lake if your willing to walk.

Fishing was slow yesterday in the 2 area's I fished, but they are there getting them to bite is another story.

We kinda need a "head-count" for those who plan to be there Saturday. Quickfire is making chili for lunch (his chili is awesome), and I'm gonna get the bowls, condiments, utensils,,etc. Bring yer own drinks, but I plan on bringing plenty of bottled water also.

Im in and will bring cookies for dessert! I'm willing to walk anywhere to get them to bite. I will also throw in some refreshments in my cooler.

Luke, Evan, and myself will be there until after lunch. Hate to "eat and run" but my daughter will be in from college so I need to get back and see her a little bit.

Me and my oldest son with be there, plan on being at the bait store at 7am. The one on the corner of 36 and messick rd. the road that heads to the state park. Owner has at the bait and tackle you will need and will hopefully tell us where the fish are at.

Can not wait for Weedy to pull me around the lake on my sled.

We should be at the Gettin Jiggy around 7:30am. Need to get some bait. I may try for some walleyes with a tipup.

Will be at the bait store around 7am to get some info as to where the fish are biting than head to the ramp after that. Black bibs with a red jacket with my 2 man clam (blue) flip over shanty. See you all in the morning.

Im not going to be there. I just got home from Maxi and never got a bite. I walked 1.6 miles threw 6" of slush that was froze hard on top but you broke threw with every step. Im so worn out I can hardly move. That had to be one of the most stupid things Ive done in a long while. Good luck to all you guys! h.h.

It was fun to hang out for a while. Luke kept saying how much fun it was and that we need to do it again - I agree.

It was a great time other then the AZZ that want to sit on the lap of whoever was catching fish, and he did it even after you all left.

Can't wait to get out and do it again, I'm game whenever you guys want to do it again.

We ended up with 34 fish, all cleaned and in the freezer, ready for a fish fry soon.

Looks like a good time guys hopefully I can make the next one.

Brought home 14 today, no hole poacher today. Ice had about an inch of water on top and it was running in all the holes. Brought home some good ones but it was a very slow bite.
