This time of year estrous doe or dominant buck?

I have had them come in on a rope to HTS doe in heat on several occasions.

It does not always work but it has helped me put a few bucks in the freezer

I been using HTS for years with good results. I had 2 small bucks come by me at 4 yards monday night and act like it wasn't there? I was surprised. Maybe it was a little watered down this year

I've got a couple nice fresh tarsal glands that'll get used really soon. He wasn't the dominant buck in the area so maybe his big brother will come in to kick his arse. Probably drag a little estrous behind me on the way in too.

you are right on the conversion point. I used DB last week and had three different non shooters come to decoy and sniff it.
Yesterday, two bucks came by and didn't even approach the decoy.

I think the conversion to doe decoy and doe scent is now here.

Started seeing some good chasing 2 nights ago... couple different decent bucks! It is 'bout time for the doe pee boyz!

Never have used one drop of scent product.

Cedar....Unless as someone else said, you have access to some hot doe scent glands.... "If it didn't come FROM the woods, It dont smell LIKE the woods."

This time of year carry your ziplock. If u knock that hot doe down or urban buck doe cut those tarsal beauties off bag em and put a small hole in bag and tuck it under your hunting buddies dash when he turns heat on plug ur nose and sit back n shoot the monster following him! Just tell him you forgot to shower be right behind ya!
