We're having a heck of a time up here in Alaska! We did a full day halibut fishing trip that was AWESOME! Here's a link to some pictures (you don't need Facebook to view them): https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=7948ce3bb2 We got a little video of me landing a 103lb halibut: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y12K9xSphE Today, we're about to head up towards Denali where the wife and her friend, who we're staying with, go shopping and me and another guy are going to hit up some streams to go after the rainbow trout. This will be my first time fly fishing, so excited! Hopefully will be posting some more pictures tonight of some big rainbows! Here are some of the highlights of the trip: ![[Linked Image]](https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1044251_10102595091238288_1065675759_n.jpg)

That is so cool. Here's my advice though. Pack those fish in dry ice and mail to us down here over night and we'll let you know how they taste! Looks like a great time. Keep the pics coming.

Too cool.
Ate halibut for dinner one night...right there at the Whittier docks last September.
Enjoy the rest of your trip. Alaska is amazing!

I have 67 pounds of halibut sitting in the freezer up here. We found it cheaper to just keep it frozen and then check it as luggage on our plane home in a cooler. I made some friends up here and a guy took me out for my first fly fishing experience. We only managed one grayling but it was a lot of fun just being out there! ![[Linked Image]](https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/1017165_10102599784952048_750160618_n.jpg)
