I freaking LOVE Kelly strippers.... If I am not fishing for bass with top water baits then I only use Kelly's..... They are bass catching machines....

Stay away from the weedless ones as they are not that great and you only get two hooks vs three with the regular ones....

One draw back is that smaller bass will tear them up and cause them to not spin right....

The two I use the most is the Purple & White (the best choice) and Wine & White.... If they are not biting on one color chances are they will bite on the other.... On some lakes some colors work better then others.... So don't be afraid to try the other if they are not biting on the first one....

Shop around, some places IMO rip you off on them while others give you a better deal... I use to get a whole sleeve for under $25 (I think 10 or 12 worms) but I haven't bought any in a long time.... One other nice thing is that they are made right here in Indiana (Ft. Wayne) so you will be supporting Hoosier jobs...

It has been years since I fished with those. How do you rig them? Weightless for just topwater?

Fished with Plow Jockeys for 50 years and caught every kind of fish on them. Back in the day we payed .25 each. If fished without weight they flip, spin and dance around. Years ago we bought them by the card. h.h.

I use a small weight otherwise there isn't enough weight to cast them very far....

Bryan, A spinning rod and 4-6# line and you would be surprised at how far they go. I have put a split shot on the line at times for depth. Old company with a good product. h.h.
