Finally had success on this trip, which was my 2nd try for this species in that province. I shared the full story over on bowsite, and here is the link for anyone who may be interested in reading about a trip of this type. The Mackenzie mountains in the NWT rank as some of the most remote, untouched, pristine wilderness in the world, with a diversity of game animals. You'll never see a road, a trail, or a man-made object or structure of any kind. Just beautiful. Experienced some wicked weather during about half the hunt, and encountered a few other adversities as mentioned in the story.
