Yaz, northern Colorado had a very warm winter, but they finally got snow & cold right at the end of February. So I buzzed out there to hunt with my houndsman friend Jed for 4-days. We put some serious miles on his track machines, but never cut a track fresher than about 48 hours old. The wind & snow kept coming which fills in the cat tracks and makes it tough. The day after I left it got warm again, and stayed warm all the way through the end of April when the season closed. No snow basically means no cat hunting. Hoping for better luck next year!
