Let me quickly say.
We hunted the Stuart7 ranch in Caddo Ok this year, an easy 13 hour drive. It is a little cheaper than the PBGS hunt, but when you factor in if they take care of hogs it could become more expensive, they charge $50.00 per hog. Food was good lodge excellent and if you saw hogs you saw a bunch, twenty or more in a group. We killed eight between eight people and one hunter never saw a hog. You can google Stuart7 ranch for more info.
Or if you want to book a group you put together, google Pope Brothers Guide Service for a Texas hunt. Discounts for a group of five or more, $350.00 a day for less than five with a two person minimum. Food is excellent, Lodge can be great or average at best, depends on which ranches you hunt. Pope Brothers do their best to get you into hogs, but again no guarantee. Each year on our hunts someone will not score or even a couple people.
If you choose to pick another hunt REMEMBER to pick dates on,before or immeadiately after a full moon. It gets awfully HOT in both states after April, hence the summer discounts for summer monts at PBGS.
Everyone needs to do a real wild hog hunt at least once, Penned presrve hunts don't count as wild........
