Need to add a couple of things here for those who are interested in going.

1. Shots are typically 75 to 175 yards.

2. Rifles need to be .243 or larger, I have used muzzleloader in the past and others used shotguns with slugs(12 guage).

3. The BEST scope you have or can aquire, last number should be either 40 or 50, a 3X9X32 will not work.

4. Most hogs are killed after dark.your scope must be able to gather all available light, thus the need for 40 or 50 bell on scopes.

5. For best results everyone should purchase a "Sniper Hog Light" (Google search) They are around $175.00 but they give you the light you need to see and shoot out to 200 yards. green or red is the preferred color. watch their videos to see what I mean.

6. Good bino's are a plus as you will use them rather than your scope to search for pigs at night.

7. At least one person will drive, that person(s) will carry all guns, coolers and one piece of luggage per hunter. All those flying will contribute to the driver(s) expense. This is cheaper and easier for those who fly, rather than additional baggage fees.

8. Figure into cost the guide and cook tips, generally around an additional $175.00. You will also have a night in San Antonio when you arrive on Wednesday and at least a dinner that night.

9. The hunt will begin at noon on a Thursday, dinner served around 4 pm and we begin to hunt. Hunt Thursday evening/night until Saturday evening night. Breakfast Sunday morning the npictures and butchering, some will go for a plane and others drive back to Indy. If you fly you share cost of rental needed and that is an additional 70.00 or less.

This is a ton of fun if you have the correct equipment. I'll answer any questions you guys have.So let me give you a rough estimate of costs.......

Hunt. 975.00

Flight 425.00

hotel 50.00

car 65.00

driver 75.00

dinner 25.00

guide 125.00

cook 25.00

license 50.00

hog light 175.00

Total... 1,940.00

My guess for a new guy flying and needing the hog light figure $2000.00.
