It's been a few years since I killed a deer with my bow so this one felt good. Had a 6 pointer and doe come in Friday night. I screwed the stand placement up and got busted twice. I readjusted the stand on Saturday and screwed up another doe by letting her get too close when I had a 15 yard shot earlier in her path. She busted me too. Finally, I put it all together on this doe and drew when her sight was obstructed. A 60 yard "track" job led me to her. The cool temps really made this a great hunt. The bow is a Rocky Mountain Recurve replica made by Jess Stuart.
