I shoot for entanglement with coyotes. I want them dead when I get there. If they die quick, you don't have to deal with the "water head" issues when you skin them.

Agree with the above posts. These guys snare way more yotes than I do. In my experience, most domestic dogs won't fight the snare and can be cut loose. Be sure you always have your cable cutters with you...
