Chevy no castor was sold and beavers were just as sad. 1 dollar to 10 tops.

Friday morning around 7AM as I was heading for Erie going down Hwy 24 I saw a guy walking with a back pack between the river and the road and I think it was DP checking snares.....am I correct? h.h.

All relured this morning. Hoping for some action tonight...

Found s buyer in Lynn that was wanting coyotes. Sold 16 that averaged $15.00. Had a couple at $25.00. I'm pretty happy with that. Got 6 at NAFA that Dad sent early. He sold his coons for a $5.00 average. Top was $12.00. Be interesting now to see what the NAFA prices are. At least it's enough to pay for two or three more MBs and and some sanding cable.

I have not been back across the farm since the big thaw, when I pulled everything. It has just been too soft. I rode back last night to check fence and gates before turning cows/calves back on pasture this weekend. Rode up to a set on the lane that never caught a coyote. It was a simple scent post set. No bait. Last time I put any gland on it was back before the first big snow…….This is what I found…. :rolleyes:

That's kind of the way I took that!!! I may keep this spot going with a squirt once in a while, and hang a camera on it……just to see how often its visited.

I got real close to 4" of snow yesterday. Makes me want to set snares again. Why is it when you want snow like in deer season you very seldom get any but when you dont want snow you can't get rid of it. h.h.
