Good observation Tony. That right there is the reason you do not have to re-lure or bait very often. Most people think if the bait or lure is a week old and it hasn't been touched, it has to be re lured. Not the case, and often times it can be too "loud" and be a turn off for coyotes. I had coyotes dig in a old set two months after I pulled a trap out of it.
