Yaz, I usually use 5' anchors attach to 5' snares. The one that got out, the anchor and snare were on the fence to blend in and the dog went out instead of coming in my property. He tore up my backing and had the snare twisted pretty good.

Im not so sure someone didnt rob me of the yote as there were 4 wheeler tracks in the old snow that were covered up by the new snow that came out of the neighbors field threw some small trees in my corner and into the other neighbors field, turned around and went back. 4 properties meet there. The snare was less than 10 ft from the tracks.

There are some guys logging about 3/4 mile or farther where these tracks came from but there are no trees in the field they came across. Im going to stop by and ask them is they were the ones riding but Im sure they will say no. h.h.
