All my traps were empty again today. It got real cold and froze up the ditch I put those traps in yesterday so Im moving them to shallower/faster water. h.h.
If you're not a hemorrhoid, get off my butt.

Its the December blues. 1 night you will load the boat, the next night nothing. My guess is that they are starting to lay up for a bit until the rut starts in a few weeks. Seems like every year around the middle of Dec. they do this. IMO

One of my pipe sets was missing the trap this morning. Bad decision not to wire the trap to the rebar which I thought was tall enough the coon/mink wouldn't be able to slip the chain up over the top. I lost a brand new duke 1 1/2 cs. I probably had a big old boar in it. The rest of my traps were empty. h.h.
