Hope you guys did better than me. I had 26 coon in this auction, 13 coon sold for an average of $9.80. the other 13 were bought back. I sold all of my SDA but only one of my *Sel sold. I'm sure my opossums will really give me a boost tomorrow. lol. oh well, I might end up with enough to buy another dozen traps.

the fur market was tanking hard before that, that has not helped any I sold mine coon in December for $12 avg (no 11% NAFA commission) to groenwold, I thought I got hosed then but feeling better about the prices now. 76, you did good... I shipped to Groeny last year and was very satisfied. This is the first year I have fleshed my own and the first half of mine were pretty ugly but the last half of my hides turned out pretty good. It seems my damaged hides seem to be selling better than my best graded coons. None of my money makers (Grinners) sold.
Good news, I've sold a couple more coon Bad news, My average dropped.. lol

Pure luck really on market timing. when I sold there were early indicators the prices were headed down, but also people saying the prices at NAFA were going to be mide 20's or higher. I control what I can and do my best to handle fur right. I skin all mine on a machine and they are all dry and brushed out and have no holes in them.
