Another lesson learned as I rushed to get the last 220 set right at dark, I apparently forgot to take the safety hooks off.
Last year a skunk tripped my 220 and either I forgot to take one safety off or the skunk digging under the fence flipped it back on but, only one side went off and the skunk was alive. He was pinned front and back and couldn't fire off his stink bomb. I shot him in the head without any spray. I much prefer them to be dead in a trap! ......LOL h.h.
