I did notice that 1x19 held a better loop than 7x7 cable but the micro locks close the loop easier on the 7x7. I took one of the locks and drilled it out just a bit so it would slide better on the 1x19. In a fence set where the yotes are dealing with stiff wire the 1x19 cable shouldn't make a difference but on woods or trail sets where the weeds are softer I think the 7x7 works better, JMO. h.h.
