Yes I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I had the same issues. Later on tonight, I will show how I elevated that problem. Any more, I'll add an extension onto my snare if I don't have one long enough to get it tied off up high. You just don;t have the misses, and it catches them "better" that way.
