Thanks guys. The set was toward me in the picture on a deer trail about 6-7 ft from the fence. There was a jump stick for the deer, set about 2 1/2 feet off the ground at a slight angle and anchored around an old fence post drove into the ground. The other day yote tracks went through the set. It must have went under the loop. I like to set the jump sticks at an 45 degree angle and set the snare on the high end. If you set the stick just so the yote has to duck their head that guides their head right in the loop.
There is another set west of this one in the corner that I caught the first yote in but that set is under a 3-4 ft drift. h.h.
