Yaz,
Did you make them? Ive looked on the net for a trap setter but only came up with the one that fits Conibears. Yesterday I set the 550 over the head of my 3 lbs. hammer. Layed the hammer down which gave me something hard to push against. h.h.

Yaz, you might be lucky to even see the bush tomorrow. No bird today. The wind in Madison above the Ohio River was probably 25 mph and no sign of birds but coyote tracks were literally everywhere.

I relocated a couple of sets, and put up three snares in one spot. Lots of sign. The traps I put in before it rained Sunday, are froze in so tight I'm afraid to chisel them out. I'm afraid I'll bend them up. I had to laugh at this one. I guess they couldn't get their deer leg through the fence. The deer leg had to have come off the Amish place next door! I snared a coon right here last week. Hope to have a yote here soon! ![[Linked Image]](http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e329/GYaz/securedownload-2_zps61f77ad9.jpeg) I made a dirt hole and a scent post close together in a place where they have been coming between a fence corner, and a steep bank. Its a good pinch point. I hope snot doesn't smell, because I couldn't keep it from dripping in my sets as I was making them!!! Ground was tough to chop out and made a mess. Hope this one works! ![[Linked Image]](http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e329/GYaz/securedownload-3_zpsbca6163b.jpeg)

Those would be good to set on tire tracks in a weedy field. Tomorrow I'm getting the tractor out and scout for yote tracks, set my feeders back up and put out some hay for the deer. I would take my 4 wheeler but Im afraid to get hung up in drifts. Lot of deep snow up here. h.h.

they have a flat plate or washer welded to them usually to keep them from spinning. Originally posted by Yaz: What keep the snare/and support from spinning in the ground? [/b]

The way they have the wire set up for this "kit" is to put a "U" at the bottom. One side is longer than the other and on the short side about 4-5". You will then pound the "U" into the ground w/ the snare tool and it keeps it from spinning. This kit does not have the washer. Very easy to make. Now that I know it will be very simple.
