Heck Yaz, I'm soo jealous I think I need to move! I wonder if my subdivision neighbors would mind if I put out a set or two!

the ones I am catching are still quite blue. Just a guess, but likely only going to fetch a few bucks. Those December and early Jan yotes are where the $ is. Some of the ones I have caught late have terrible broken down backs and are really not worth skinning. Originally posted by Yaz: ....We'll get 'em in December, Jan, and Feb, PB.

Mine had a little blue tint to it but I have no idea what to compare it to. I forgot how much these things stink. I am hoping to get one of those skinning machines. I can skin 3-4 deer in the time it took me to skin out the coyote. Get better as I go I guess.

When I tell the neighbors around here that I'm catching coyotes again. They all ask me if they need to put their dogs up, and tell me to catch every one! [/b] I still say you need to rent me the vacant room. I can cook.... [/b]I sure miss my "cook". I need to loose a few anyway! BUT....HE!! NO............

#2 Caught this female in the same set that I caught a male in a couple weeks ago. I pulled up and she was asleep, honked the horn and woke her up. The .22 short behind the shoulder worked great. No blood or mess. Thanks for that tip. Oh, and I caught this one 300 yards from where I watched 8 quail walk under my deer stand. Helpin' the quail out a bit. ![[Linked Image]](http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z42/bean568/GEDC0007_zpsbfecfb8b.jpg)

I pulled a week ago before a camping trip then spent last week in Florida....I am ready to go for coon season on Friday. That old pipe drain is just laying there and I use it to guide the coyotes in a lil better. Seemed like a good idea at least. I will start going for coons next week. I hunt Big Oaks this weekend. Pretty excited I got 3 more farms to trap just yesterday. Dog proofs and people having coyote problems really help get you permission. Friend is working on making me a skinning machine. Pretty fun this trapping thing.

wow, that is great. Catching some problem coon and coyotes can open some doors (and gates) for hunting access too. With all I have read about the fur market, we are looking at the highest prices in years now too. Originally posted by bean: .....I got 3 more farms to trap just yesterday.
