REALLY inspect a snare if you think its reusable. The slightest kink or bend will bite you in the butt when a coyote steps in, and the snare hangs up. If even one strand of wire in the snare is broke, put a new one in. The ONLY time I have felt good about reusing one was when a caught tote jumped over the fence, and there was no struggle. The downside is....the scent of the caught yote will remain on the snare for some time, causing the next one through to stop and smell it, instead of going on through.
