Roush Lake lost all its dove fields to the flood. No dove hunting there this year.
No hunting at Salamonie either.
Steel shot only on state owned properties.
Lastly, hope you are not part of that Michigan bunch that shows up at Roush Lake every year after the draw hunts and get there before daylight and try to take up a whole field for yourselves? Spread out real far so now one else can set up then tell guys coming into the field its full. Always sitting on the youth field the first day it opens. If it is you then please read the hunter etiquette article on DNR's website. If its not you then my apologies. h.h.

There is no dove hunting this year at Roush Lake. It was too wet to plant. You can call Roush Lake and ask for Jeff Reed and he will give you info.
Well Im glad it's not you but the guys usually have 3 trucks with Michigan plates and do exactly what I described. h.h.
